Is Osteopathy Suitable For me?

This is a question often asked, and the answer is usually yes. Most musculoskeletal aches and pains not caused by an underlying condition can often be improved through direct treatment. In some cases, an osteopath may, through a detailed case history, identify an underlying condition and advise a visit to your doctor, explaining why it is necessary to see a GP.

For those without underlying conditions, particularly individuals in desk-bound jobs with poor posture leading to neck pain or upper back and possible stress-related headaches, osteopathy can be highly beneficial.

Even long-standing, unexplained aches and pains often attributed to aging can be addressed. While age will play a role, osteopathy can still provide relief, improve mobility, and enhance capabilities. This is especially valuable for older individuals who may have suffered a fall and lost confidence in their movement. With appropriate treatment and encouragement, it is possible to regain both confidence and the ability to move more freely. Working to improve balance helps to increase confidence and reduce the risk of further falls.

Trying to improve your training capabilities in the gym where injuries are becoming an issue you hit a stage and the same injury or pain occurs so you stop training the pain goes hey presto you think, but once back to training there comes the pain. Osteopathy can help find the underlying cause to the pain and then treat it.
